What do you do at LitLingo?
Chief of Staff
Favorite part of working at LitLingo?
I am not sure if I can boil it down to just one aspect. Primarily, the product: nothing makes me happier than working for a company with a truly innovative product that benefits businesses of all sizes. Also, the people: I have already had the pleasure of working with more than a few of my LitLingo teammates, and I couldn’t be happier to be reunited. The professionalism and experience at this company are profuse, and I can honestly say we are building the best team from the ground up!
What do you find most rewarding about your role?
The versatility. I wear many hats for my position, and that keeps my days fresh and exciting. One of the most important parts of my role is onboarding new employees; developing a welcoming and efficient experience is crucial to setting the tone for new teammates and a top priority.
What makes someone successful on your team?
My position makes this question slightly awkward because the whole company is my team! So broadly speaking, the ability to communicate effectively. While creating consistent and reliable communication is not only a bedrock of our product offering; it’s what will enable our team to meet its fullest potential, and I hope to be a helpful resource in executing this goal.
What’s the biggest problem your team is solving?
Foremost, I’m here is to help drive company growth and create a reliable culture. I look forward to working alongside CEO Kevin Brinig, who has first-hand experience growing small companies into a new lifestyle. Secondly, company growth! Not only does LitLingo offer cutting-edge technology, but we are also preparing for some serious growth. I have experienced mass company growth first hand, and providing employees with the tools they need to succeed, a reliable culture, and open communication are all things that keep our team happy and growing!
What projects are you most excited about?
Office space! I miss my morning coffee breaks and work clothes– although a year in spandex has been quite pleasant. We have officially outgrown our WeWork office and we are on the hunt for a new home in ATX. Stay tuned on our new office location!
